Ishaq Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Regional Diplomatic Engagement Strategy

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Regional Ambassadors’ Conference, held in Islamabad from May 14 to 18, concluded with a final session chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the closing session, the deputy prime minister reviewed key discussions and recommendations developed over the course of the conference. He emphasized Pakistan’s longstanding historical and brotherly relations with Gulf countries and reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in political, economic, and people-to-people areas.

Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s focus on expanding economic partnerships and promoting regional peace and stability through active diplomacy and sustained engagement. He also highlighted the welfare and protection of Pakistanis living abroad, particularly in Gulf states, as a top government priority.

Ishaq Dar Reviews Tax Proposals For Federal Budget

The deputy prime minister noted Pakistan’s constructive role in encouraging regional harmony and stressed the importance of continuous coordination between diplomatic missions and relevant ministries.

He instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistan’s foreign missions to maintain close collaboration and ensure effective implementation of the recommendations made during the conference.
