Usama Butt Earns Bronze Medal At ARA Festival In Mongolia

LAHORE: (Sports Reporter) – Pakistan’s emerging Mas-Wrestling athlete, Usama Butt from Gujranwala, has won a bronze medal at the prestigious ARA Festival Mas-Wrestling Championship held in Mongolia, adding another international achievement to Pakistan’s sporting record.

Usama competed against some of the world’s top Mas-Wrestlers, including leading athletes from Russia and Mongolia. His strong performances, technical skills and determination earned him a place on the podium, further enhancing Pakistan’s presence in the international Mas-Wrestling arena.

Along with the bronze medal, Usama was awarded a cash prize of $2,000 in recognition of his achievement.

Congratulating the athlete, Nawab Furqan Khan, Vice President of the Asian Mas-Wrestling Federation and Presidium Member of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation (IMWF), described the victory as a proud moment for Pakistan.

He said Usama’s success against world-class competitors reflects the growing talent and potential of Pakistani Mas-Wrestlers and highlights the dedication of athletes, coaches and officials working to promote the sport across the country.

Furqan Khan added that the Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation remains committed to creating more international opportunities for athletes and aims to establish Pakistan among the leading Mas-Wrestling nations in Asia and beyond.

He also expressed hope that Usama Butt’s achievement would encourage more young athletes to take up Mas-Wrestling and represent Pakistan on the global stage.

The Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation thanked the International Mas-Wrestling Federation and the Asian Mas-Wrestling Federation for their continued support in expanding the sport and providing competitive opportunities for athletes from developing Mas-Wrestling nations.
