Pakistan’s Armed Forces Deliver Decisive Blow in Operation Banyan-e-Mersoos: DG ISPR
DG ISPR Hails Historic Response, Vows Firm Defence of Pakistan’s Sovereignty
Rawalpindi — In a landmark press conference, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, flanked by senior officials from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN), revealed comprehensive operational details of Operation Banyan-e-Mersoos, Pakistan’s powerful military response to recent Indian aggression.
The DG ISPR announced that Pakistan successfully executed strikes on 26 key Indian military installations, targeting high-value assets in multiple cities including Suratgarh, Sirsa, Bhuj, Nalia, Adampur, Awantipora, Udhampur, Pathankot, Bathinda, Barnala, Halwara, Srinagar, Jammu, Mamoon, and Ambala. Notably, two S-400 air defense systems in Adampur and Bhuj were neutralized, along with BrahMos missile depots in Beas and Nagrota.
The strikes were conducted using Fateh Guided Missiles I and II, with pinpoint accuracy to ensure minimal collateral damage. “Only military positions used in attacks on civilians in Azad Kashmir were targeted,” emphasized Lt Gen Chaudhry.
In a show of multidimensional warfare, Pakistan also launched significant cyber operations, effectively paralyzing key components of Indian military infrastructure. Armed drones from Pakistan even flew over major Indian cities, including New Delhi, in a calculated display of technological superiority and to counter Indian drone provocations.
The DG ISPR stated the response was “historic and timely,” adding, “Let no one doubt that any assault on our sovereignty will be met with a resolute and effective response.” He praised Pakistan’s soldiers for their bravery, calling them “the true defenders of the nation,” and expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, cabinet, and all political parties for their unified stance during a critical time.
Pakistan also destroyed Indian military intelligence hubs in Rajouri and Nowshera, known for orchestrating cross-border terrorism, and eliminated field operatives involved in subversive activities within Pakistan.
Operations in Azad Jammu and Kashmir successfully silenced Indian posts that were attacking civilian areas, with several Indian units reportedly raising white flags in surrender.

The DG ISPR revealed that India had used drones to breach Pakistan’s airspace to spread fear among civilians. In retaliation, Pakistan demonstrated its aerial reach by sending surveillance drones deep into Indian territory as a symbolic warning.
Lt Gen Chaudhry also offered prayers for Pakistani civilians injured in the conflict and paid tribute to the martyrs, assuring their families of the nation’s unwavering support.
He concluded by reaffirming the military’s three promises to the nation:
-
A strong and unwavering response to aggression,
-
Freedom to choose the timing and nature of retaliation, and
-
A global narrative shift, where international media would take notice—not just Indian outlets.
The press conference marked a pivotal moment, signaling Pakistan’s preparedness, restraint, and capability in the face of provocation, while sending a clear message that the country’s sovereignty remains non-negotiable.
