Zardari, Shehbaz Mark Quaid-e-Azam Death Anniversary, Pledge Prosperous Pakistan

Pakistan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Pakistan marked the Quaid-e-Azam death anniversary today, as President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid warm tributes to the founder of the nation, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

In his message, President Zardari said Jinnah spent his life fighting for the rights of Muslims in the subcontinent. He said this struggle finally led to the birth of Pakistan.

The president said Jinnah wanted a homeland where Muslims could live freely, without fear, and side by side with people of other faiths. He pointed to Jinnah’s famous speech on August 11, 1947, just days before independence, as clear proof of this vision.

Zardari also said Jinnah’s life teaches patience, hard work, and belief in one’s goals. He added that real national strength comes from strong institutions, fair laws, and equal treatment for everyone.

The president urged citizens to solve their differences through dialogue and democratic means, not conflict. He also called for economic reforms, more jobs for youth, and better public services across the country.

He further said Pakistan will keep working for peace in the region, while staying firm against terrorism and extremism.

In his own message, PM Shehbaz Sharif called Jinnah a leader who changed history. He said Jinnah gave Muslims of the subcontinent the courage to unite and protect their identity.

The prime minister said Jinnah handled Pakistan’s early struggles, including money problems and mass migration, with wisdom and confidence. He said Jinnah always stood for equal rights for every citizen, regardless of religion or background.

Shehbaz said the best tribute to Jinnah is working together for unity, harmony, and a stronger economy. He asked the nation to renew its commitment to Jinnah’s principles of faith, unity, and discipline.

Both leaders agreed that Jinnah’s teachings still guide Pakistan today, especially in tough times.
