Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Urge Restraint Amid Regional Escalating Tensions

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the latest security developments in the region.
During the call, both leaders expressed serious concern over the renewed escalation despite the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding signed between the United States and Iran last month. They agreed that the fresh tensions do not serve the interests of any country and pose a threat to regional peace and stability.
Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s position, urging all parties to exercise maximum restraint and give ongoing mediation efforts sufficient time and space to produce a peaceful and constructive outcome.
