Punjab Education Department Issues Revised SOPs for Government and Private Schools

LAHORE: (Education Reporter) – The School Education Department of Punjab has issued a new circular introducing revised standard operating procedures (SOPs) for government and private schools across the province.

According to the instructions, all Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of education authorities in Punjab have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the new guidelines.

The department has made regular morning prayers mandatory in both government and private educational institutions. Schools have also been instructed to arrange extracurricular activities, including Bazm-e-Adab, to encourage patriotism and positive engagement among students.

The circular further directed schools to organize special activities aimed at promoting national unity and strengthening students’ sense of social responsibility.

School heads have been instructed to conduct awareness lectures on “Marka-e-Haq” to promote national consciousness, civic responsibility, and awareness among students.

The Education Department also issued directions for the implementation of the revised National Action Plan and ordered all public and private schools to ensure complete compliance with the newly issued SOPs.
