HEC and PSEB Sign Deal for National Digital Talent Verification System
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to integrate their degree verification systems and establish Pakistan’s first nationally verified digital talent pool.
The agreement was signed by HEC Chairman Dr Niaz Ahmed and PSEB Chief Executive Officer Faisal Jadi.
Under the partnership, the academic credentials of graduates and information technology professionals will be digitally verified through a unified platform, enabling employers and institutions to authenticate qualifications quickly and securely.
Officials said the integrated verification system will enhance transparency, strengthen confidence in Pakistan’s digital workforce, and significantly reduce the time required to verify academic credentials.
The initiative is also expected to improve employment prospects for Pakistani IT professionals in both local and international markets by providing employers with reliable, verified information about candidates’ educational qualifications and technical skills.
According to officials, the collaboration supports Pakistan’s Digital Pakistan vision by fostering stronger coordination between higher education institutions and the country’s technology sector.
