Funeral Prayers Held for Two Pilots Martyred Mardan Crash
Mardan – (Web Desk) – Two pilots martyred Mardan when a Pakistan Air Force trainer aircraft went down during a routine training flight. The martyred officers were Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah of PAF and Lieutenant Talha Abbasi of Pakistan Navy.
The crash happened during a regular training sortie near Mardan. Air Headquarters immediately formed a Board of Inquiry to find out the cause of the accident.
Lieutenant Talha Abbasi was the son of Professor Shahid Nawaz Abbasi, a well-known personality from Murree Rawat Bhurban. His loss has deeply saddened the entire community.
Funeral prayers for Lieutenant Talha Abbasi were held at Rawat Bhurban Cricket Stadium. A large number of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, and Pakistan Air Force officers attended the funeral along with local people.
The atmosphere was full of grief. Every eye was wet with tears as people prayed for the martyr and asked Allah to give patience to the bereaved family.
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and all service chiefs expressed deep sorrow. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also offered their condolences to the families.
The nation salutes the brave sons who gave their lives in service of Pakistan. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
