Security Forces Kill 48 Militants in North Waziristan
Weapons Recovered as Security Forces Continue Counterterror Operations
Rawalpindi: (Web Desk) – Security forces have killed 48 militants linked to Fitna-ul-Khawarij during a series of intelligence-based operations conducted in North Waziristan over the past 72 hours.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security personnel carried out targeted operations in Miran Shah and nearby areas, eliminating 21 militants in the latest action. Among those killed were identified commanders Khalid, Muftun, Musa and Imran.
The military’s media wing stated that a total of 48 militants, including four key ringleaders, have been neutralised during the ongoing operations. Security forces also recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition from the slain militants.

ISPR said the killed commanders were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including attacks on security personnel and civilians. The military reaffirmed its commitment to continuing sanitisation operations across the region to eliminate terrorist networks and restore lasting peace.
