ISPR North Waziristan Operation 2026 Delivers Major Blow to Fitna al-Khwarij Network

North Waziristan – (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s security forces have scored a major victory in the ISPR North Waziristan operation 2026, killing 48 Indian-sponsored Khwarij terrorists in just 72 hours, including four key ring leaders.

According to an ISPR statement released on Saturday, multiple terrorist hideouts were targeted in the general area of Miran Shah and surrounding locations in North Waziristan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In fierce gunbattles, 21 more Khwarij were eliminated in the latest round of operations. Among the killed were four ring leaders identified as Kharji Khalid Raza alias Salar, Kharji Muftoon, Kharji Musa, and Kharji Imran alias Ayan.

All four were highly wanted terrorists. They were directly involved in attacks on security forces personnel and the killing of innocent civilians across the region.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists. Security forces confirmed that the killed Khwarij had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities for a long time.

The operations are being carried out under the national counter-terrorism campaign Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan. Authorities have made it clear that sanitization operations will continue until all remaining terrorists are eliminated from the area.

Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to wiping out foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
