CM Maryam Advocates Rs37,000 Minimum Wage, Highlights Drop in Roti Prices
Lahore — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday reiterated the unwavering support of all political parties for the Pakistan Armed Forces, emphasizing national unity and a people-centric governance model.

Together, we are one nation, defending our sovereignty.” She credited former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for making Pakistan a nuclear power, declaring, “Pakistan’s defence is impregnable, and our army protects the borders like an iron wall, despite persistent threats from India.”
Highlighting recent welfare initiatives, the Chief Minister shared that over three million families in Punjab had received ration packets directly at their doorsteps. “I believe governance should go to the people. It saddened me to see citizens carrying bags of flour. Alhamdulillah, today, help reaches their homes,” she said.
