Martyr Naval Officer’s Widow Joins Pak Navy as Commissioned Officer

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Alveera Hamza, the widow of Pakistan Navy martyr Lieutenant Commander Hamza Abid Shaheed, has been commissioned as an officer in the Pakistan Navy, turning personal loss into a story of courage and determination.
Alveera earned the Commandant’s Gold Medal and joined the Pakistan Navy’s Information Technology branch after successfully completing her training at the Pakistan Naval Academy.

Speaking on the occasion, she said her husband’s sacrifice inspired her to wear the same uniform and serve the country. She described the moment as a source of immense pride for herself and her daughter.
Alveera also encouraged young Pakistani women to join the armed forces, saying that if she could achieve her goal while raising a daughter, others could also serve the nation with dedication and courage.
