Trump Urges Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan to Join Abraham Accords
President Trump Calls Muslim Countries To Join Abraham Accords Alongside Iran Deal
WASHINGTON: (Web Desk) – Donald Trump has stated that alongside a potential agreement between the United States and Iran, several Muslim-majority countries should also become part of the Abraham Accords.
In a statement shared on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said negotiations with Iran were making positive progress. He emphasized that the talks would either result in a major agreement or no deal at all, warning that failure could lead to the return of conflict on a much larger scale.
According to Trump, neither side desires war, which is why Washington is pursuing what he described as a comprehensive and lasting agreement with Tehran.
The US president revealed that he held detailed discussions on Saturday with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, and Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Trump said he conveyed to these leaders that after extensive US diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis, most of the countries involved should simultaneously join the Abraham Accords.
He specifically mentioned Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan as countries that should consider joining the agreement, while noting that the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are already signatories.
The US president acknowledged that one or two countries might have legitimate reasons for not joining immediately, but insisted that most regional nations should support what he described as a historic diplomatic initiative.
Trump also stated that Saudi Arabia and Qatar should sign the agreement without delay, arguing that refusal to do so could signal a lack of commitment to the peace process.

During the discussions, Trump added that it would be an honor if Iran itself eventually became part of the Abraham Accords following a successful agreement with Washington, calling such a development “extraordinary.”
He further instructed US representatives to immediately begin efforts aimed at expanding participation in the accords and completing the diplomatic process.
The Abraham Accords were first introduced during Trump’s presidency in 2020, leading to the normalization of diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
