DOHA: Qatar on Saturday announced major updates to its visa policy, extending visit visas for GCC residents from one month to two months and allowing them to obtain multiple-entry permits.

The Haya system will also continue supporting the Arab Cup 2025 by simplifying travel procedures for visitors and fans from across the Gulf. The platform offers a unified digital process for submitting e-visa applications and managing event-entry requirements, enabling smoother trip planning.
Haya currently provides five types of electronic visas:
- Tourist visa (A1)
- GCC resident visa (A2)
- Electronic travel notification (A3)
- Visa for visitors accompanying GCC citizens (A4)
- Visa waiver application for US citizens (F1)
