Family in Mourning as 3.5-Year-Old Girl and 6-Year-Old Boy are Swept Away by Rising Waters

Spain-(Special Correspondent): In a tragic event in Valencia, Spain, two children from a Pakistani family with ties to Vehari have lost their lives in a severe flood. The victims, a 3.5-year-old girl and her 6-year-old brother, were carried away by the swiftly rising waters.
Rescue teams have successfully retrieved the bodies, which will be returned to the bereaved family after DNA verification.
The Pakistani embassy in Spain confirmed the heartbreaking news through a Facebook post, stating they were informed about the two children who died in the flood.
The embassy has reached out to the family to offer assistance during this difficult time while also respecting their privacy by not disclosing further information.
In a related incident, a British couple, Terry and Dawn Turner, who lived in Pedralba near Valencia, also lost their lives in the flood. Their daughter, Ruth O’Loughlin from Brentwood, Staffordshire, reported that her parents’ bodies were found in their car on Saturday, November 2nd.
Ruth noted that her parents had moved to Valencia from the UK a decade ago, attracted by the warmer climate compared to the cooler weather in Britain.
The community has been deeply affected by the news of the couple’s deaths, which coincided with the loss of a Spanish individual who also perished in the flood.
