Sultan Tariq Bajwa, is the youngest Member of the Punjab Assembly, has been appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering. This decision aligns with the Chief Minister’s ongoing commitment to incorporating young and educated talent into her team, as she currently retains this ministry under her leadership.

Born in Nankana Sahib to Chaudhry Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, Sultan Tariq Bajwa brings a strong academic background to his new role. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brunel University London and later pursued a Master’s in Management Sciences at BPP University. In 2021, he earned a Graduate Diploma in Law from Leeds Beckett University and, most recently in 2023, was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn.
Bajwa was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab as an independent candidate from PP-132 Nankana Sahib-I in the 2024 general election, securing 47,743 votes and defeating Mian Ijaz Hussain Bhatti of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), who received 38,248 votes. Following his election victory, Bajwa joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
His appointment reflects the Chief Minister’s vision of empowering educated youth within her government to drive progress and innovation across key sectors in Punjab.
