Iran Reopens Strait of Hormuz After Ceasefire
Washington: (Web Desk) – US President Donald Trump said he appreciates Iran’s decision to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a positive step for global maritime trade.
In a statement posted on Truth Social, Trump said Iran has announced the full reopening of the strategic waterway and welcomed the development, noting that it will facilitate uninterrupted global shipping.
He added that while the Strait of Hormuz is now fully open for commercial traffic, restrictions and naval pressure measures against Iran will remain in place until a comprehensive agreement is reached. Trump emphasized that negotiations are progressing and urged swift completion of the process, claiming most issues have already been settled.
In a separate post, Trump also stated that the United States will receive all materials referred to as “nuclear dust” produced by B-2 bomber operations, without any financial transaction. He further said the arrangement is not linked to Lebanon, but that Washington will address Hezbollah-related concerns separately.
