Wah Cantonment (Web Desk): Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has said that the people of Pakistan and Kashmir are bound by deep-rooted historic, cultural, and emotional ties and are inseparable identities.
Addressing a reception ceremony held in his honour at Taj Marquee, the prime minister said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) represents the federation and continues to enjoy strong support in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. He expressed confidence that the party would form government in the future based on its growing public backing.
He added that under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PPP is regaining political strength in Punjab. He further remarked that the party would “surprise everyone” by winning all refugee seats in future elections.
UN Resolutions Justify Kashmiri Freedom Struggles
The prime minister stated that the PPP leadership has always championed the rights of workers and the general public. He urged party workers to remain united and actively spread the party’s message across all regions to secure electoral success.
Earlier, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore received a warm welcome upon his arrival at the event by party workers and supporters. Separately, he visited the residence of Pakistan Peoples Party Rawalpindi Division President Sardar Ashar Hayat to offer condolences on the death of his father, Dr. Sikandar Hayat, and prayed for the departed soul.
In another message, the prime minister expressed sorrow over the passing of the paternal aunt of PPP Deputy Secretary Information Shaukat Javed Mir, extending sympathies to the bereaved family.
