Sharjeel Memon Calls for Practical Solutions to Pakistan’s Economic Challenges

Sindh Government Working to Address Inflation and Unemployment: Memon

KARACHI: (News Desk) – Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the province’s development is essential for strengthening Pakistan’s economy, emphasising that the provincial government is working to create employment opportunities, attract investment and improve public services.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Memon said the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) politics revolved around public service, democracy and the supremacy of the Constitution.

He said the Sindh government was establishing industrial zones and seeking international investment to generate jobs and stimulate economic activity. He added that people expected practical solutions to inflation, unemployment and the shortage of basic facilities.

Memon urged political parties to prioritise public relief and concrete measures over political rhetoric, stressing that all parties needed to demonstrate seriousness in addressing the country’s challenges.

Paying tribute to former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, he said she had devoted her life to democracy, people’s rights and a strong federation. He added that the PPP remained committed to upholding her principles.

Memon said the provincial government was also working to improve transport facilities, advance development projects and expand essential services to ensure that ordinary citizens benefited from its initiatives.
