Sharjeel Inam Memon Announces Full Opening of Bhutto Highway This Month

A new road was also being constructed from Karachi Port to the Taj Haider Bridge, Minister said.

KARACHI: (Web Desk)- Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that the Bhutto Highway project would be fully opened later this month, describing it as a “game changer” for Karachi’s transport network.

Addressing a press conference, Sharjeel Memon said the Shahrah-e-Bhutto would be linked with the M-9 Motorway, which would help save nearly one hour of travel time for commuters.

He said the project would provide major convenience to the public and significantly improve traffic flow in the city.

The senior minister further said that a new road was also being constructed from Karachi Port to the Taj Haider Bridge to improve connectivity and ease transportation issues.

Sharjeel Memon added that the Sindh government was making every effort to provide maximum facilities to the people, adding that several development projects of the Local Government Department and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) were currently underway in Karachi.
