Sahiwal Police Encounter Ends in Shootout After Boy's Abduction and Murder

Sahiwal police – (Web Desk) – Three accused men were killed in the Sahiwal police encounter after they were found responsible for kidnapping, sexually assaulting, and murdering a 14-year-old boy named Hasan. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Ghala Mandi Police Station.

The victim was abducted from his village, subjected to sexual violence, and later killed. His body was dumped in nearby fields, where police later recovered it during a search operation.

Following the recovery, police acted swiftly and arrested the three main suspects — identified as Shaukat, Adnan, and Shoaib. All three were taken into custody without delay.

During an escorted operation to locate their accomplices, the suspects’ associates ambushed the police team with gunfire. Officers returned fire in self-defence, killing all three suspects on the spot. One policeman sustained injuries in the shootout.

Two accomplices managed to flee during the confrontation. Police have launched an active manhunt and are working to trace and arrest the remaining fugitives.

The bodies of the three suspects have been shifted to a nearby hospital for medicolegal formalities. Authorities have assured the public that the case is being handled with full seriousness.
