Landi Kotal – (Web Desk) – A CTD officer martyred Landi Kotal on Friday morning after unidentified gunmen opened fire on him near his home. The victim was identified as Counter Terrorism Department officer Asim Shinwari.

The attackers shot him outside Zakariya Mosque and quickly fled the scene. The incident shocked the local community and raised serious security concerns in the area.

A police team arrived at the spot shortly after the attack. They shifted the body of the slain officer to DHQ Hospital Landi Kotal for post-mortem examination.

Security forces cordoned off the surrounding area immediately. A search operation was launched to track down the gunmen responsible for the killing.
