Punjab-Punjab’s Monsoon Spell Expected to Persist Until Friday. The Met Department has predicted hot and dry conditions for most of Pakistan today, with occasional rainfall expected in some areas, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Kashmir, and the hilly regions.
In the northern cities such as Abbottabad, Mansehra, Balakot, Battagram, Swat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan, there is a chance of rain, offering temporary relief from the heat. Tourist destinations like Murree and Galiyat are also expected to see rain along with thunderstorms.

Islamabad and nearby areas are likely to be partly cloudy, with no significant rainfall anticipated. Rain is forecasted for the southeastern districts of Sindh, including Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Mithi, and Tharparkar, while the rest of Sindh will remain hot and dry.
Widespread Monsoon Rains Expected Nationwide Until August 18
In Lahore and other parts of Punjab, monsoon rains are continuing, with intermittent showers expected throughout Thursday. Lahore is currently experiencing a temperature of 26°C with 80% humidity. The maximum temperature is projected to reach 33°C, and the minimum will be around 25°C. This monsoon spell is expected to last into the following day, bringing cooler temperatures and more pleasant weather to Punjab.
