Punjab bans school summer camps from July 1
Punjab threatens action over unauthorized summer camps
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Punjab Education Department has banned summer camps in schools from July 1 following an increase in temperatures across the province.
According to the department, schools found conducting summer camps in violation of the order may face strict action, including heavy fines or cancellation of their licences.
The government had earlier permitted schools to hold summer camps until June 30. Education authorities have now formally informed all schools that the camps must end from July 1.
The department has directed district education authorities to ensure compliance with the ban and take action against any institution operating summer camps without permission.
