Punjab to replace teachers with trained exam invigilators
Government teachers relieved of examination responsibilities
According to the School Education Department, the decision is part of a wider reform programme aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency and credibility in the examination system. Under the new policy, trained university graduates will be recruited to carry out paper marking and invigilation.

The minister said a specialised training programme has already been launched, adding that only certified and trained personnel will be allowed to perform examination-related responsibilities from the next academic session.
He further said that, following the appointment of new chairpersons of examination boards, the government will implement a new phase of reforms to modernise the examination system and strengthen transparency across the province.
