PPP Targets Youth, Women Through Digital Membership Initiative
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Islamabad City has officially launched its Digital Membership Campaign 2026, aimed at expanding grassroots engagement and connecting with citizens through modern digital platforms, with a special focus on youth, women, and marginalized communities.
During a meeting held on June 15, PPP Islamabad City President Khan Iftikhar Shahzada and General Secretary Azhar Ali Khan announced the formation of a five-member Digital Membership Committee to lead the campaign. The committee includes Information Secretary Uzma Osho Nasir, Deputy General Secretary Malik Zahid Iqbal, Office Secretary Abdul Nasir Jilani, Deputy Information Secretary Dr. Abid Mehmood Mehr, and Deputy Information Secretary Dr. Shehnaz Solangi.
The committee will oversee and manage the digital membership drive across major social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other online channels. Through a comprehensive outreach strategy, the campaign aims to encourage citizens to become active members of the Pakistan Peoples Party and contribute to strengthening democratic values and institutions.
According to the party leadership, the campaign will also highlight PPP’s historic contributions and ongoing efforts in national development, social welfare, public service, youth empowerment, women’s leadership, minority rights, and inclusive development across Pakistan.
The meeting further decided that official PPP Membership Cards will be issued to all newly enrolled members through the digital registration process, enhancing organizational connectivity and member participation.
PPP leaders reaffirmed the party’s commitment to democracy, social justice, equality, and progressive governance, stating that the Digital Membership Campaign 2026 is designed to engage a new generation of Pakistanis in building a modern, inclusive, and prosperous nation.
