PCB Announces Office Bearers for Islamabad Region’s Four Zonal Cricket Associations

ISLAMABAD: (Sports Reporter) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the successful candidates elected as Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers of the four Zonal Cricket Associations under the Islamabad Region following elections held on Monday, July 27, 2026.

According to a notification issued by PCB Election Commissioner Mansoor Qadir, the newly elected office bearers of the East, West, North and Central Zones will serve a three-year term with immediate effect.

In the East Zone, Syed Waqas Ali Shah was elected President unopposed, Waseem Qutab was elected Secretary unopposed, and Imran Ullah Khan was elected Treasurer unopposed. In the West Zone, Mohammad Usman was elected President, while Tallat Hussain and Muhammad Talha were elected Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, without opposition.

In the North Zone, Younis Masih was elected President, Umar Shabbir secured the position of Secretary, and Yasir Mehmood was elected Treasurer. In the Central Zone, Hizkeel Hussain Khakwani was elected President, Abdullah Umar Siddiqui became Secretary, and Muhammad Waqar Abid was elected Treasurer.

The PCB said the elections complete the leadership structure of the Islamabad Region’s four zonal cricket associations, with the newly elected officials set to lead cricket administration and development in their respective zones for the next three years.
