Hot, Humid Weather Expected Across Pakistan’s Plains Today

Northern Areas May See Cloudy Skies Amid Hot Weather

ISLAMABAD: (News Desk) – Most plain areas of Pakistan are expected to experience hot and humid weather during the next 24 hours, while partly cloudy conditions are likely in the northern hilly regions, according to the Meteorological Department.

The department said weather remained hot and humid across most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. However, strong winds accompanied by thunderstorms and rain were reported at a few locations in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Barkhan.

Barkhan in Balochistan received the highest rainfall at 2mm, while Kalam and Drosh in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Babusar in Gilgit-Baltistan each recorded 1mm of rain.

The highest temperatures on Monday were recorded in Sibi and Dadu, where the mercury reached 42°C, while Turbat recorded a maximum temperature of 41°C.
