Inam Butt Faces Possible Suspension After Positive Doping Test

ISLAMABAD: (Sports Desk) – Renowned Pakistani wrestler Inam Butt is facing the possibility of a suspension after reportedly testing positive for a prohibited substance during a doping test conducted at the Asian Beach Games in China.

Butt underwent the test during the Asian Beach Games in April. The matter is currently under review by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), which will determine the next course of action after examining the wrestler’s explanation and medical documentation.

According to sources close to Inam Butt, the wrestler had been taking prescribed medication for an eye-related medical condition before participating in the Games. They said the medication was used strictly for treatment and was not intended to improve his sporting performance.
