Panjgur Operation: Top Indian-Sponsored Terrorist Among Five Terrorists Killed

Panjgur – (Staff Repoter/Web Desk) – Pakistan’s security forces have carried out a successful Panjgur operation, killing five terrorists linked to India-backed militant networks. The action took place in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, where troops acted swiftly after receiving credible intelligence reports.

Officials confirmed that the Panjgur terrorists killed in this raid included a senior commander of the group known as Fitna al-Hindustan. The operation was carried out under the ongoing Radd-ul-Fitna III campaign, a broader effort aimed at wiping out militant hideouts across the province.

The raid took place in two specific areas, Sarkini and Chheedgi, both located within Panjgur. Troops moved in after tracking militant activity in the region for some time. Among those killed was a man identified as Wazir, son of Jamal, who reportedly held a key leadership role within the group.

Security sources shared that the operation was not just about combat. Troops also recovered a significant stockpile of weapons from the site. This included four motorcycles, machine-guns, and a large amount of ammunition and explosive material. The scale of the recovery suggests the group was active and well-equipped.

According to officials, the slain militants had been terrorizing local communities for a while. They were allegedly involved in extortion, kidnapping, and looting targeting both traders and ordinary residents in the area. Authorities say these men were also connected to several other terrorist incidents in the region.

Officials noted that this is not the end of the mission. A clearance operation is currently underway in the area. The goal is to track down and eliminate any remaining members of Fitna al-Hindustan hiding in the region.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces shortly after news of the operation broke. He called the mission a clear example of how swiftly and effectively troops can respond when given accurate intelligence.

Naqvi described the militants as Indian-sponsored actors working to destabilize the region. He said their elimination sends a strong message to anyone attempting similar activity in Balochistan.

The minister added that operations like this reflect the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s forces toward restoring peace in the province. He also reaffirmed that the government and the public stand fully behind the armed forces in their fight against terrorism.

This latest action adds to a growing list of successful counterterrorism missions in Balochistan this year. Officials say more operations are expected as authorities continue targeting militant networks operating in the region.

For now, residents of Panjgur are hopeful that continued military pressure will bring lasting calm to their communities, many of whom have lived under the shadow of extortion and violence for years.
