Pakistan Moves Up to 13th Spot in Latest FIH Hockey Rankings

PHF Chief Hails Progress, Vows to Promote Hockey Talent

Islamabad – Pakistan’s national hockey team has climbed two spots in the latest global rankings released by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), moving from 15th to 13th place.

The improvement comes on the back of Pakistan’s impressive performance in the FIH Nations Cup, particularly their victory against Japan. Experts believe that if the team maintains its current momentum, it has a strong chance of breaking into the top 10 in the near future.

The Secretary General of the Pakistan Hockey Federation praised the progress, stating that the country is rich in hockey talent. He emphasized the Federation’s ongoing efforts to bring this talent to the forefront.

He also announced that a series of events will be held this year to showcase and develop emerging players, providing them with ample opportunities to grow and succeed in the sport.
