Motorway Police Launch Cashless System for Driving License Fee Payments
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Government of Pakistan, through the National Highways & Motorway Police, has rolled out a modern cashless payment system for driving license fees, aiming to make the process easier and more efficient for citizens.
The initiative was officially launched by Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Asghar Ali, who highlighted that the new system removes the need for applicants to visit banks for fee submission, reducing hassle and saving time.

With this new setup, citizens can conveniently pay their driving license fees using digital platforms such as EasyPaisa and JazzCash, along with various mobile banking applications.
In collaboration with the National Bank of Pakistan, QR code payment machines have already been installed and activated at the Islamabad Driving Licensing Authority. Authorities confirmed that similar systems will soon be introduced in Sheikhupura and Quetta as part of a wider rollout.
Senior officials from the Motorway Police and the banking sector attended the inauguration ceremony. According to officials, the digital system will not only make payments quicker and more convenient but will also ensure transparency and real-time payment confirmations.
