Pakistan California Trade Ties Grow as Envoy Woos Investors

US & Pakistan – (Special Correspondent/Web Desk) – Pakistan California trade ties are set to grow stronger after a series of high-level meetings in Sacramento this week. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, met business leaders, investors and corporate representatives to discuss fresh investment opportunities.

The envoy invited American business owners to explore sectors like digital economy, banking services, agricultural technology and aviation. He said Pakistan offers a skilled workforce and strong growth potential across these fields.

During a meeting with a delegation from Sacramento, Sheikh shared details about investment opportunities back home. He explained how Pakistan’s economy is opening up to foreign partners in new and exciting ways.

The ambassador also held talks with California State Treasurer Fiona Ma. Both sides discussed ways to build on the long-standing economic and cultural bonds between Pakistan and California.

Sheikh made it clear that boosting trade, business and education links with California remains a top government priority. He called this partnership a “win-win” for both regions.

In another meeting, the envoy sat down with Dr Alfred Cheung, founder of Northern State University. The two leaders talked about working together on health, medical research and technology projects. This could open new doors for students and researchers from both countries.

The ambassador also toured DosePacker, a well-known pharmaceutical and pharmacy solutions company. He praised their modern lab technology and encouraged the firm to consider Pakistan’s cost-effective and skilled production capabilities.

Later, Sheikh met members of the Pakistani-American community in Sacramento. He thanked them for their ongoing support in strengthening Pakistan-US relations.

“The Pakistani-American community is an important bridge between the two countries,” the envoy said during the gathering.
