Vows to uphold transparency, claiming no personal use of state resources

Islamabad-(Staff Reporter): Privatization Minister Abdul Aleem Khan affirmed his commitment to accountability, stating that he is answerable to both a Higher Power and the people of Pakistan for every penny managed by his ministries. Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Khan emphasized that he views his ministerial role as a sacred trust, and he has made it a priority to conduct himself with the utmost integrity.

Khan underscored his refusal to use state resources for personal benefit, clarifying that he has funded all his foreign travels personally and has not utilized any government assets for private purposes. “I do not own a government vehicle, nor do I employ government staff or drivers,” he declared, openly challenging critics to provide any evidence of misuse of public funds in connection to his travels. He further stated that no foreign embassy could claim he has spent government money while abroad, advising his detractors to reflect on their own actions before focusing on his.

Reiterating his dedication to transparent management, Khan asserted that he remains fully responsible for his departments’ expenses and has not drawn any government allowances. Khan concluded by encouraging individuals to evaluate their integrity before casting judgment on others, reminding the audience of the importance of self-reflection and accountability in public service.
