Peshawar Motorway M-1 to Close From September 23
Traffic Advisory Issued as M-1 Motorway Closure Takes Effect Wednesday
ISLAMABAD (Staff Reporter)-— The Peshawar Motorway (M-1) will remain closed to all traffic from 11pm on Wednesday, September 23, until further notice, according to a traffic advisory.
Motorists travelling from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other districts have been advised to avoid using the M-1 and postpone unnecessary journeys until the motorway reopens.
Meanwhile, the M-2 Motorway connecting Lahore and Islamabad will remain open to all types of traffic.
Passengers and motorists have been urged to plan their journeys accordingly and strictly follow the instructions issued by the traffic police to avoid inconvenience.
