Instead of staying quiet, Juszczyk decided to have some fun with it. He shared a post on X with a cheeky caption before facing reporters at his locker.

Juszczyk explained that fans have called him “Juice” for years, and his celebration was always meant to show him drinking juice, not beer. He said the fine caught him off guard given that history.

The league’s statement said players are expected to act in ways that reflect positively on the game. Juszczyk, however, feels the ruling missed the real meaning behind his gesture.

This is not his only fine under review. He is also appealing an earlier $20,033 penalty from Week 1, issued for a hit involving his helmet against the Los Angeles Rams.

Both appeals are set to be heard on September 29, 2026. Until then, Juszczyk seems more interested in keeping the mood light than worrying about the outcome.
