Following two separate meetings, the Commission nominated Azam Khan and Raja Inam Amin Minhas as additional judges for the Islamabad High Court. The decision was made through a majority vote from the Commission, which considered a pool of four candidates. The selection process highlighted the Commission’s commitment to appointing highly qualified and experienced individuals to uphold justice in the capital’s judiciary.

Raja Inam Amin Minhas, one of the new appointees, is a former president of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association and is widely regarded for his legal acumen and expertise in judicial matters. His extensive experience in the legal field is expected to greatly benefit the Islamabad High Court.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan High Court saw a unanimous decision from the Commission, which approved the nominations of Muhammad Asif, Najamuddin Mengal, and Muhammad Ayub as additional judges. The appointments were finalized after careful evaluation of their professional credentials and proven track record in the legal community.

The Judicial Commission also addressed candidates who did not secure the required majority, confirming that they will be reconsidered for future vacancies. This step ensures that the Commission continues to prioritize merit and professionalism in its decision-making process.
