ISPR: 48 Indian Sponsored Terrorists Killed Across Balochistan in 72 Hours

Balochistan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Pakistan’s security forces have carried out fresh strikes, with Indian sponsored terrorists killed in Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi during a wave of intelligence based operations across Balochistan. The province has seen one of its most active days of counter terrorism action this year.

In Mastung, troops spotted a group of militants on the move and opened fire after tracking their location. Six terrorists were killed in the exchange, and forces later destroyed a stockpile of ammunition and explosives found at the scene.

A bigger operation unfolded in the Shaban area of Quetta, where soldiers traced four hideouts used by Fitna al Khwarij fighters. A fierce gun battle followed, leaving twenty six militants dead on the spot.

Security forces also raided a hideout in Kalat, killing two more terrorists linked to the network. In Sibi’s Bhag area, local residents helped alert troops to an attack being planned on a police station, and quick action by forces stopped the raid before it could happen, killing two attackers.

Officials say thirty six terrorists were eliminated in just the last day, and forty eight over the past three days alone. Search operations are still underway to clear the region of any remaining threats.

Authorities say the campaign, run under the Azm e Istehkam plan, will keep going until foreign backed terrorism is wiped out completely.
