Ishaq Dar, EU Leadership Discuss Regional Situation and Economic Cooperation
Both sides agreed to remain in close contact and continue coordination on matters of mutual interest,
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with European Union Vice President/High Representative Kaja Kallas on Thursday, discussing the evolving regional situation along with its economic and broader implications.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the EU leadership appreciated Pakistan’s continued constructive and facilitative role in promoting regional peace and stability.
During the call, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and engagement as a key tool for resolving regional challenges and maintaining stability.

He also highlighted the recent successful convening of the EU–Pakistan Business Forum in Islamabad, saying it would help strengthen economic partnerships and create new opportunities for trade and investment.
