Govt places Shehbaz, Qaim Ali’s names on ECL
Staff Reporter – Islamabad:
The federal government on Friday has placed the names of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and Former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah on the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to sources, the approval of the inclusion of Shahbaz Sharif and Qaim Ali Shah’s names in the no-fly list was given through a circulation summary.
The former Sindh chief minister is facing charges of corruption in the Roshan Sindh project while Shehbaz Sharif was accused of money laundering and owning more assets than income cases.
While giving a response on the development, PML-N Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a Tweet that Imran Khan’s priority is to place Shehbaz Sharif’s name on ECL not fixing the inflation and economy of the country.
