Gold Prices Surge Rs5,700 Amid Global Rally
24-Karat Gold Reaches Rs482,936 Per Tola in Pakistan
KARACHI: (Finance Reporter) – Gold prices continued their upward trend in Pakistan on Saturday, marking a third consecutive day of gains in the local market.
According to rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs5,700 per tola, reaching Rs482,936.
The price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams also increased by Rs4,972, settling at Rs414,039. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold became Rs4,558 more expensive, reaching Rs379,549.
In the international market, gold prices gained $57 per ounce to reach $4,604, according to the association.
Silver, however, remained unchanged in both domestic and international markets. The price of silver stood at Rs7,379 per tola, while 10 grams were priced at Rs6,326.
Internationally, silver continued to trade at $69 per ounce, with no change reported.
