Karachi: (Finance Reporter) – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp increase on Wednesday, rising by Rs10,000 per tola as international gold rates also moved higher.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold reached Rs437,936 per tola after the significant daily increase. The price of 10-gram gold also climbed by Rs8,573, reaching Rs375,459.
A day earlier, gold had closed at Rs427,936 per tola after declining by Rs500 during the session.
In the global market, gold prices increased by $100 to reach $4,155 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also recorded a rise of Rs273, reaching Rs6,624 per tola.
