Dan Lawrence was the top scorer for England in that innings, hitting a fine 54. Young star Harry Brook chipped in with a handy 34 runs.

Going back to the first innings, England had built a strong lead of 180 runs. They posted 290 runs, then bowled out Pakistan for a poor 110.

Aizaan Owais was Pakistan’s top scorer in that innings with 46 runs. Saud Shakeel added 16, but eight Pakistani batters failed to even reach double figures.

This win holds special meaning for England. It is their first Test victory over Pakistan at Lord’s in a full 16 years, making the moment extra sweet for the home fans.
