Anmol alias Pinky Drug Queenpin Karachi Sent to Jail in 18 Cases as Court Orders Full Investigation
Karachi – (Web Desk) – Karachi’s alleged drug queenpin Anmol alias Pinky is now behind bars after a local court placed her on judicial remand across multiple criminal cases. The court issued orders following the completion of her physical remand in a murder case registered at Baghdadi police station.
Pinky was arrested on May 12 from an apartment in Karachi’s Garden area. A joint team of police and a civilian intelligence agency carried out the raid. At the time of arrest, authorities recovered weapons, cocaine, and other drugs worth nearly Rs1.5 million from her possession.
She was produced before the court in 18 separate cases. The judge ordered her back to jail under judicial custody and directed investigation officers to submit challans in each case without delay.
During early questioning, Pinky reportedly admitted to paying hundreds of thousands of rupees every month as bribes to different police stations across Karachi. She also revealed that her drug network was generating over Rs20 million in sales every single month.
The case drew public attention after a video went viral on May 12. It showed Pinky being presented before a magistrate without handcuffs and under unusual protocol. Karachi’s Additional Inspector General Azad Khan confirmed that the officers responsible for this lapse faced departmental action.
At a press conference on May 15, AIG Khan revealed that Pinky’s network also had foreign connections. Six African nationals and several women based in Lahore were reportedly part of the ring. Raids are still ongoing to arrest her associates.
Sindh Inspector General Javed Alam Odho addressed a press conference on May 19, announcing the formation of a special task force to tackle the drug network. He urged citizens to come forward, share information, and testify in court. He stressed that fighting narcotics is a shared responsibility of every Pakistani citizen.
