Pakistan Showcases Textile Strength at Texworld New York City 2026
Pakistan's participation in Texworld New York City 2026 reflects the country's continued efforts
New York: (News Desk) – Pakistan has showcased its growing textile and manufacturing capabilities at Texworld New York City 2026, one of North America’s leading international textile sourcing exhibitions, by inaugurating the Pakistan Pavilion at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The pavilion was inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, along with Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai and Trade & Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan.
Organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Trade & Investment Wing of the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York, the pavilion highlights Pakistan’s value-added textile industry, apparel, leather products, sports goods and home textiles.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh emphasized the textile sector’s key contribution to Pakistan’s economy and reiterated the government’s commitment to boosting exports and expanding commercial relations with the United States.
Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai described Pakistan as a reliable global sourcing destination and reaffirmed the Consulate’s support for strengthening business partnerships between Pakistani exporters and American buyers.
Trade & Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan said Texworld New York City provides an important platform for Pakistani companies to connect with international buyers and further expand their footprint in the U.S. market.
Five Pakistani companies—A1 Infinity, MRI Group, Hometex Corporation, Ruqi Sports, and Niza Sports—are participating in the exhibition, displaying a wide range of products, including home textiles, towels, apparel, leather garments, sportswear, gloves and other textile products.
During the three-day event, running from July 29 to July 31, Pakistani exhibitors are expected to hold meetings with buyers and industry representatives from the United States and other international markets to promote Pakistan’s manufacturing excellence, innovation and export potential.
