LONDON: (Sports Desk) – Pakistan captain Babar Azam has returned to training ahead of the second Test against England at Lord’s, scheduled to begin on August 27.
Pakistan’s players took part in a full training session as the team worked on all three departments ahead of the crucial Test. Babar also spent time training at the indoor facility.
The return to practice comes after Pakistan endured a disappointing opening Test at Leeds. The visitors suffered a heavy innings-and-103-run defeat in the absence of their regular captain, with Salman Ali Agha leading the side as stand-in skipper.
Pakistan will now turn their attention to the second Test at Lord’s, where they will look to bounce back strongly and level the series.
Babar’s return to training provides a positive boost for Pakistan as the team prepares for an important contest against England.
The visitors will be eager to put their first-Test disappointment behind them and produce a much-improved performance across batting, bowling and fielding at Lord’s.
