LAHORE: (News Desk): Pakistani content creator Aon Sheikh has spoken publicly for the first time about his ongoing dispute with fellow influencer Rajab Butt, urging an end to the online controversy while rejecting the allegations made against him.
In his latest vlog, Aon apologised to his followers for his recent absence, saying the controversy had taken an emotional toll on both him and his family. He explained that he has always tried to stay away from public feuds but felt it was necessary to respond after what he described as false accusations.
Aon claimed that fake screenshots, edited screen recordings, and fabricated voice notes had been shared online to damage his reputation. He said he has the right to defend himself whenever misleading claims target him or his loved ones, insisting that he only speaks publicly to clarify allegations rather than launch personal attacks.
The content creator also denied reports suggesting he intended to discuss the issue through podcasts or interviews. According to Aon, he already has his own platform to present his perspective and has deliberately declined multiple podcast invitations because he does not want the controversy to become a source of online entertainment.
However, he said he would be open to a respectful face-to-face discussion if all parties involved were willing to participate.
Addressing another point of debate, Aon stated that a viral audio clip attributed to him had been taken out of context. He said he uploaded what he described as the complete recording on his Instagram account so viewers could hear the full conversation before forming opinions.
Ending his vlog, Aon appealed for the online dispute to come to an end, saying both families deserve peace and privacy. He also urged social media users to avoid sharing unverified information and reiterated that he would only respond publicly when false allegations directly affected him or those close to him.
