Islamabad: (Web Desk) – The British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, has praised the world-renowned footballs manufactured in Sialkot, describing them as a symbol of exceptional craftsmanship and Pakistan’s rich sporting heritage.
Speaking in a documentary titled Made in Pakistan: Sialkot to FIFA, Marriott highlighted the global reputation earned by Pakistani-made footballs and their longstanding connection with international sporting events.
She noted that Sialkot has established itself as one of the world’s leading centres for football manufacturing, supplying high-quality footballs used in major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup.

Her remarks highlighted the pride and recognition associated with Sialkot’s sports goods industry, which remains a key contributor to Pakistan’s exports and global reputation.
