ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan women’s national cricket team will host the Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team in a six-match white-ball series beginning May 4 at National Bank Stadium.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the series will feature three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), all scheduled at the same venue in Karachi.
The ODI matches will be played on May 4, 6, and 9, starting at 3:30 pm local time, while the T20I fixtures are set for May 12, 14, and 15, with matches beginning at 7:30 pm.
The ODI leg is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29, where Pakistan currently sits fifth on the points table with two points after its recent series against South Africa.
The hosts will be led by captain Fatima Sana, while newcomer Muneeba Riasat has been included in the ODI squad. The T20 squad will be announced later.

Fatima Sana said playing at home gives her team a strong advantage, adding that while preparations have been solid, improved batting consistency will be key to success.
Zimbabwe’s batter Nomvelo Sibanda described the tour as a historic occasion, expressing excitement about her team’s first visit to Pakistan.
The T20 series will also serve as preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England, scheduled to begin on June 12. Pakistan is also set to feature in a tri-series in Ireland ahead of the global tournament.
Matches will be broadcast live on PTV Sports and Geo Super, with streaming available on platforms like Tamasha, Myco, and Tapmad. The PCB’s official YouTube channel will also provide global coverage, while the commentary panel will include former players Salman Butt, Ali Younis, Kainat Imtiaz, and Aiman Anwar.
