KP House Protests Block Roads, Raise Public Inconvenience Concerns

Peshawar: (Web Desk) – Protests at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House have caused significant traffic disruptions across the province, leaving roads blocked and creating difficulties for daily commuters. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi criticized the protesters for occupying the premises after their morning routines and then leaving, which has inconvenienced the public.

Governor Kundi noted that KP House is fully functional, with staff, kitchen facilities, and all necessary arrangements in place. He questioned why opposition members are not utilizing available meals and refreshments, while the protesters block access, affecting normal operations and citizens’ daily activities.

Highlighting the impact, the governor said the protests have effectively brought Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to a standstill, while Punjab and Sindh continue to operate normally. He urged the federal government to take responsibility and ensure that roads remain open to prevent hardships for patients, the elderly, and ordinary commuters.

Governor Kundi emphasized that the protesters are a small group of around 15 people and criticized their actions for unnecessarily disrupting public life, calling for appropriate measures to maintain public order.
